Questions and answers
What does Clarvia do?
We ask the AI services the questions your customers ask, count how many answers you are named in, and show what is missing on your pages for you to be named more often. Then we publish the changes on your site.
Which AI services do you measure?
Perplexity, Gemini and ChatGPT, and only answers grounded in the web, because those are the answers that can point at a page. Claude is listed as not tracked, because we do not have such an answer surface there.
What is a question?
A sentence a customer would write to an assistant, for instance who delivers a service in an area. You get 20 per site per language, and you confirm them yourself during setup.
Do you change my site?
Only when you press publish, and only through the publishing system you connect yourself. Every publish can be undone, and we fetch the page again afterwards to confirm the change is there.
Do I need a developer?
No. You connect the publishing system once, the first time you publish. The rest happens in Clarvia.
What if an AI service says something wrong about us?
We mark the answer as a wrong fact and say which detail is off. You confirm the correct facts during setup, and we use them both in the text we propose and to catch the error.
What if it does not work for us?
You get your money back within 14 days of the first invoice. Annual billing runs to the end of the year you paid for, with no refund of the remaining months.
Where is the data kept?
In the EU. Copies of pages are deleted after 30 days, scan history after 24 months, and the answers from the AI services after 12 months. Delete the account and everything is gone within 30 days.
